How to: Select a box or boxes in an organizational chart.
Solution:
While editing the MS Organizational Chart single-click on the box; press and hold down SHIFT, and click on the boxes; or select the 'Edit' menu, select 'Select' and select the desired organization level.
1) Select (single-click) the desired organization chart. (Handles appear around the border.)

2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'MS Org Chart Object'. (The MS Org Chart Object submenu appears.)

3) Select 'Edit' from the 'MS Org Chart Object' submenu. (The organization chart edit window opens with the toolbar tools and menu commands active.)
4) To select a box or boxes do one of the following:
a) To select a box single-click on the desired box. (The box is highlighted.)
b) To select multiple boxes, press and hold down SHIFT, and single-click over the desired boxes. (The boxes are highlighted.)
5) To select boxes that are organized by Subordinates, Co-workers, Managers, Assistants, Non-Managers, Groups and Branches:
a) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Select'. (The Select submenu appears.)
b) Select the desired group from the 'Select' submenu. (The selected group is highlighted.)
